I was thinking maybe the difference was having Amazon Prime or not, but anyone with a KF should have Prime also.
Edit: You're right Xari, I thought the app I deleted was gone, but it's still there on the cloud when I sort by title, how annoying.

Found the solution!
From the Apps section, you have to go into the Store.
Press the Menu button and select 'My Apps'.
When those come up, go
back into the Menu again and select 'More'.
And in the 'More' section, the first option listed is to 'Refresh My Apps'.
Wa-la!
(Of course, it would have been nice if it could've updated on it's own and/or 'Refresh My Apps' was in a little more obviously place. But, at least the deleted apps are
finally gone!
