My Kindle Touch's battery life has been excellent as well, but I only have about 50 books on it.

So I'm just trying to understand the rationale for people who load & keep that many books like yourself, as I've wondered about this sometimes. I've always assumed that for most people who carry this many books, they just have this slightly obsessive urge to always bring their entire collection with them wherever they go without actually reading half or quarter of them in the coming year. But you seem to have practical reasons for doing it.
A couple of questions for you and others who share this need if you don't mind:
- how often do you have to sideload if you only load the books you're about to read? Or just load the next 5-10 books you're about to read(I do that)?
- by needing this
"instant reading choice", do you mean that you don't finish the book you're reading from one sitting to the next and just pick up a different book? or you have no idea what you want to read next until you finish the book? Personally there is always list of books which I want to read next, so a 10-book queue is more than enough for me and I always finish each book.
- do you mostly read books that you've read? I admit I don't re-read books much so I don't(and can't afford) purchase that many books ahead of time.
thanks!
