The reset button only reboots the machine (it doesn't do it gracefully like if you pressed the power button and the dialog box comes up asking what you'd like to do to shut down). You'd only lose something that was not already saved (same as if you did a ctrl-alt-delete from windows while working on a word document or something like that). Ermine-0.9 is anroid version 2.2.1 and that is using kernel 2.6.34. So are you just confused on the numbers or is there another problem?
