Those models aren't in the main Kindle menu, now they're out of the SO version. Doesn't it look more like they're selling them out?

Outside of the US, Amazon is only selling the $79 Kindle (non-touch) and the Kindle Keyboard 3G (the DX is also sold, but we'll ignore that for now - everyone else seems to!).

They made a reasonable effort to rebrand the Kindle Keyboard from just being "Kindle" and I don't think they would have done that unless they had plans to keep it around for a while.

Here in the UK, the regular $79 Kindle is really seen as a budget option - the Kindle Keyboard 3G is the premium product in the line.

In terms of sales, the Kindle Keyboard (Wi-Fi and 3G models) are still outselling the Kindle Touch (without offers) on Amazon.com
