I just received the Amazon Kindle DX leather cover. The Pathway reading light I use is from Target, it uses 2 AA batteries and it clips on the cover. Anyway it kinda protrudes (curls up at the bottom of the clip) and sticks out into the back of the Kindle. Not sure if this really will damage the leather or the back of the kindle, or if it will destroy the thingamajig that holds onto the Kindle, or if it will destroy my Kindle (like I have read about at Amazon reviews).
Also how far can you open the back side of the cover before it breaks the attachments to the kindle that holds it in?
I do like the cover, unfortunately I have to have a reading light to read by. A bedside lamp can't be tolerated by someone
I am wondering what other Kindle cover users attach for reading lights that does no damage.
Can you fold the front cover to go behind the back when you read without damaging anything? After reading the Amazon reviews on all the busted Kindles I am obsessively worrying it will happen to mine.
Thanks.
