Device: kobo original, WiFI, Touch, Glo, and Aura
My husband's Kobo appears to have much better contrast than mine. How is that possible, you ask? He has a black device and mine is white. The text looks darker on the page with a black bezel. I am fine with the contrast on my white Kobo Touch.
