Nook STR does not do games, or web browser, unless you root it (which is possible). I find its physical page turn buttons less than 'ideal' (hard to find the sweet spot, and not so comfortable to maintain the grip needed for long reading sessions), and use screen taps or swipes at least as much. It is a solid reading device, but I prefer Kindle Touch in most respects.
And unlike Nook STR, Kindle Touch is certain to have a significant update in the future (to add KF8 support at least, and who knows what else).
