Tried that at the command prompt

message is "'txt2lrf' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

Probably means it did not recognise the path. Since this is my current path -

C:\Perl64\site\bin;C:\Perl64\bin;c:\program files (x86)\imagemagick-6.4.0-q16;C:\PROGRA~2\GTK\bin;C:\Windows\system32;C:\Win dows;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;c:\Program Files (x86)\Bioscrypt\VeriSoft\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\QuickTime\QTSystem\;c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\binn\

I added the calibre directory to the path like so

C:\Perl64\site\bin;C:\Perl64\bin;c:\program files (x86)\imagemagick-6.4.0-q16;C:\PROGRA~2\GTK\bin;C:\Windows\system32;C:\Win dows;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;c:\Program Files (x86)\Bioscrypt\VeriSoft\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\QuickTime\QTSystem\;c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\binn\;c:\Program Files (x86)\calibre;

and the command line versions seem to run fine.

However the GUI conversion still gave me the same message.

Furthermore the options button, ie the one with the hammer also gave the same message.

"calibre.exe has stopped working".

Please help. I really would like to see if the older version is available anywhere. It may work.
