Downloading to Kindle without wi-fi

Hello -

I have recently bought a Kindle, but am not wi-fi, so I read your reply to Tarro of a year ago and followed your instructions. Going to Amazon Account>View Kindle Orders>Manage Your Kindle>Deliver to . . . so far, so good. Then the problems. I get a File Download box which asks me if I want to save this file or find a program online to open it. I do the latter (correct?) and then a box tells me that this 'unknown File type 19.4MB' from 'cde-t-g7g.amazon.co.uk' - do I want to Find, Save or Cancel. I click Find and another box tells me that the File type (AZW) is unknown and that Windows does not recognize it. A link directs me to Registry booster and solver, which runs through only to find apparent errors in the file and it doesn't happen. I was thinking of trying other online 'solutions', but thought I should assk you before I went any further. (Surely it can't be this complicated?) Please help . . . .

Many thanks
