and after ftp'ing my database file up I tried to start the server and got the following error:
/usr/bin/env: python2: No such file or directory

So, I did this:
ln -s /usr/bin/python2.7 /usr/bin/python2

and now Calibre server is working.

I had just ftp'd my database file up, not all of my library folders have finished uploading, but the site comes up, and looks good.
