My wife and I met at a bar. (Good start, eh?)

Actually, we both had mutual friends in the printing and graphics professions, in which we both worked, many of us had jumped back and forth between the same shops over time, and over a dozen of those mutuals were all crowded around the bar when I got there.

A girl I worked with 2 jobs back, who was at the time working freelance at another printing shop where my future-half worked, introduced me to... my future-half's co-worker, mistakenly thinking I'd much rather talk to someone who shared my particular skin tone. (Heh. It happens.)

Co-worker decided she wasn't interested, though, so I quickly shifted my attention to her friend, and soon, I was making a mental note to lose the number of another girl I'd met (through another graphics friend), but who hadn't been returning my calls!
