Yes, her blog is a much more credible source, IMHO, since she's worked in multiple genres with all sorts of different publishers (and worked a lot as an editor and all sorts of jobs)

Stross mostly writes really bad Cthulhu pastiches (can't even call them Lovecraftian) and seems to be an apologist for his publisher.
