I find I'm rather spoiled with the glutton of 3rd party ereading apps that let you adjust brightness by sliding on the left edge of the screen and simply cannot fathom why the majors don't adopt this.
I am SO with you on the brightness slider. I use it constantly, probably my #1 favorite feature. Next is collections, everything after that is gravy.
