Once I discovered the calibre content server, I wiped all traces of the dropbox app from my nook color and my android phone and only visit the site with Opera browser. I'm okay with my set up for now, but I'll keep dropsync in mind...you know... just in case...

That's exactly how I do it. I use ES File Explorer to get files other than ebooks into my nook or phone and wifi File explorer to get files into my laptop from my nook/phone. And of course, bluetooth between my nook color and my phone. No wires ever. Works beautifully.

I love, love, love Mantano's library organization and note-taking capabilities but I haven't quite been able to let go of coolreader. Especially since the last couple of updates where they really improved the UI of the settings menu and since I discovered how to add my own calibre catalog. I don't know why fonts look so good on Coolreader and those 18 programmable tap zone actions...?Fuggedaboudit!
Also, I could have sworn that an earlier iteration of the android kindle app had more features. Wasn't there a time when you could lock orientation and turn off/on page turn animations?

Now I'm all curious. I've had my nook color since February and got a kindle 4 last week. Since I can't fathom ever using kindle for android to actually read, I'm wondering how people that own a kindle and another ereading device handle reading, transferring books, managing their library across both devices. Is there a thread about this already? Hmm...if not, maybe someone should start one.
