Accessing sub-groups from dropdown menu

First, thanks to Krittika for one of her earliest blog posts which introduced me to sub-grouping in the tag browser. Never would've figured out that functionality without your post!

I do have one question about usage, though.

One of the tags which i break into subgroups is Fiction.*. Under that tag, i have about a dozen subheadings (ie, Fiction.Horror, Fiction.Sci-Fi, Fiction.Historical, Fiction.Mystery/Detective, etc.). I was wondering if, when I'm adding tags to a book, there is a way to get to, say, "Fiction.Mystery/Detective" quickly in the drop down menu. By this I mean, when you start to type in the Tag field (for example), calibre guesses at what you're typing based on tags that already exist. However, since Mystery/Detective is prefixed with "Fiction.*", the drop down responds to "F" not "M", at which point you have to manually scroll through all the "Fiction.*" tags that precede "Fiction.Mystery/Detective"" if you want to select it from the drop down.

Given how the basic sub-grouping option was kind of "hidden", I'm wondering if the functionality that would also make guesses based on other tag segments/subgroups (ie, where typing "M" will prompt a dropdown which includes "Music" and "Fiction.Mystery/Detective") is similarly "hidden", either as a tweak or a check box/field in a "Preferences" dialogue somewhere.
