Hi Camy, welcome!

First, do not panic. I am fairly confident your eDGe will be back working properly soon. Have you read Obsessed's excellent Resources thread (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...php?t=132878)? I'm pretty sure he discusses error codes and the 80 error code in particular.

I'm not the most technical of people, so maybe I shouldn't be the one to advise you.

Do you have the big eDGe or the Pocket eDGe?

You will get any updates you need from this forum (see the thread I linked to above). There are work-arounds for getting your eDGe back with Adobe, and the other errors look to me like they'll be solved with a reboot or, at worst, a factory reset or "golden" update. If you can back up what you have on the device, I suggest you do so ASAP.

Have you tried pulling the battery (big eDGe) or using a paperclip in the reset hole (pocket eDGe)? That should, I think, get rid of the error messages on the reader side.

Let us know what you try and how it works. There are instructions throughout this forum for each step. If you can't find them yourself I or others will help you search.

Good luck!
Hope you'll soon be enjoying your eDGe again!!
