Once the you click "Go to," enter the location number with the keypad then highlight "Location" with the 5-way (it may already be highlighted) and click the center of the 5-way.
You're probably hitting the Location soft-button with no number entered. That's why the menu goes away and you're left on the same page. Enter the location number first, then highlight "Location" and click.
