Is there any way to download the free public domain books as epubs?

I know public domain books are free downloads from Project Gutenberg, but I'm specifically asking about the Kobo public domain books like Huckleberry Finn and Moby-Dick. I'd like to put them on my Nook. I have no problem copying purchased Kobo books onto my Nook, but there's no download link for the public domain ones.

B&N has a lot of the same books but they are not free. And I find that a lot of Project Gutenberg books are formatted poorly or are filled with spelling errors. I like the Kobo ones because they're generally pretty good and they have awesome covers.

So yeah, I found the kepub files on my computer, but I can't figure out which is which, they all have random strings of numbers and letters as their file names. Is this a hopeless cause, should I just pay the $4 or $5 for the B&N editions?
