I have to say whether he is currently well informed or not, this guy in Congress standing up for consumer privacy and demonstrating interest in doing something to protect consumers goes a long way to making me feel like our generation maybe has a chance not to really screw up the next 300 years with stupid stupid laws, like for example SOPA.

If the guy is misunderstanding something, I think it would behoove us to contact him and explain to him how his stance could hinder rather than help, or more specifically to guide him into a place where his workday efforts will prove beneficial to more than just some pr guys name-recognition chart come election time.

There are so so many lawmakers who coddle the deep-pocketed lobby corporations, who support ... yadda yadda I'm not trying to be on a soapbox, but do think its worthwhile to say, maybe give the guy some credit?
