Mangle is an app that converts comic book formats (CBR, CBZ, folder of images) to mobi format for Kindle. You can do the same thing using Calibre, and convert to PDF or EPUB for the Nook to read.

Mangle appears to have a few more features, such as the ability to re-order pages, but you can do the same (though more tediously) by opening the CBR/CBZ/CB7 container file (CBR == RAR, CBZ == Zip, CB7 == 7Zip) and renaming files appropriately so that they're in numerical order.
