No, it is what's happening. Here is a random selection from the past 6 months or so.

Now, when (NOT if) Amazon releases a 10.1 version of the fire...then, I think, Apple will at least have to take notice, though iSheep are notorious for being oblivious to such revolutionary ideas as value for your dollar, performance for your dollar, and freedom to do what you like with your devices...so even the 10.1 Fire (or whatever it's called) won't endanger Apple any, thought it might take significant sales.

android users can complain and debate each other, iOS users have the mentality of "Thank you sir may I have another".

The issue isn't that people don't like Apple the company or Apple products - I don't have a Mac, for example, and my signature is not complimentary to Apple, as far as that goes. Discussion about products is a very good thing.
The issue is that people are insulting Apple *users,* specifically. I think that crosses a line and should be stopped. (And of course this applies to insults to all users).

It is very simple. Turn everything around. Have Apple users talk about the problem with Apple's products and platforms, and Android users talk about their problems. I myself could go on all day. While Android users tend to be very open about it, from Apple users you barely hear anything. Not that there are no problems (we have several Apple devices at home, I know personally and could also list many, many), it is that such matters are not being seen as problems or are easily forgiven. Apple users have accepted the shortcomings, while Android users demand improvements.

Talking about problems with devices is fine, as I mentioned above. It's insulting users that is bad. (And it hasn't been my experience that Apple users ignore problems - there are complaints on the Apple subforum right now, for example. And plenty of Apple users have complained about recent battery issues with i0S 5. All of that is pretty ancillary to MR, of course - I have an iPad, but I rarely read on it, since my Kindle is so much better for that in most cases. Which I suppose is a kind of complaint.).
