Yes, Mantano does highlighting and notes, and even keeps an index of notes. I find the interface much more adapted to 7" than the other two. If you want to annotate papers, it's definitely worth a try.
As well, it doubles as a nice reader app - if it would work well with the Calibre server and Overdrive, I'd completely ditch Aldiko and use Mantano only.

Sounds interesting, although I wonder if having all these reader apps is going to make my Vox explode, LOL! (I have Kobo, Kindle, Aldiko, Overdrive, and Sony.) I can read pdf's with Aldiko, but I would like to be able to increase the size of the font because it's way too small in at least one pdf book I'm reading.
