I wanted at least to see one in the flesh and hopefully play with one to compare it to my PRS300. I couldn't find one any where within 40 miles who actually had any. With something like this I do like to be able to take it back to the shop if there is a problem.
If it was bought online from Sony it would probably be okay if there was a problem to send it back but I have heard not so good things about Play.com customer services and Comet haven't got that good reputation either.
I know I am being a bit negative but I have regular problems dealing with customer services by phone and online these days.
