You can sync the T1 with the Sony software to view them on your computer and also export your notes from the Sony software to an RTF file. However, if your book is DRM'ed, then it only exports 100 characters per note which is not enough for me. I end up editing the RTF file to add the remainder of the quotes that I want to save. For the Kindle, your notes are saved to a text file on the device and then you can transfer that text file to your computer via USB cable. The Nook does not allow you to transfer your notes to the computer.
