You can pick up a Sony PRS650 from waterstones for £130. They are a great reader solidly built with a 6" touch screen or even the PRS350 which has a 5" screen.
I personally have avoided the new Sony as it seems to be having a few problems.
W H Smiths are pluging the Kobo including the new colour Vox but I have yet to see one so cannot say what that would be like.
If you can get into a W H Smiths or Waterstones you can have a look and play with them
