I have been trying to track down a working Sony T1 on display to try in Norfolk. The thought was if I bought one locally from a shop I could take it back if the firmware problems proved too much.
I went to a large local Comet and not only did they not have a T1 on display, they didn't have any T1's and in fact they didn't have any ebook readers. They just wanted to sell me a tablet.
I've looked in a few PC Worlds and Currys and have found only Kindles.
So after trying a couple of Kobo Touches in different WH Smiths in recent weeks, I have ordered one online knowing I can take it into a shop and talk to a person if there is a problem.
