What errors are you talking about? What conversion? How do you convert? Where do you get the errors? Smashwords? Calibre? Word's HTML?
You can always mark an error in a HTML file, just write something there which marks is for you. When you search in your Word document later on the text surrounding your error, you know where it is located.
