I bought my Nook 1E because it had the features I wanted at a price I wanted to pay. The Kobo WiFi was on sale for $50 and had 100 classics preloaded - I couldn't pass that up. The Kindle Keyboard 3G with SO was something my wife wanted but never used, so I've inherited it and it's currently my e-reader of choice.
I intend to keep and use all 3 e-readers. The Nook when I want to read epub library books, free epub books and e-books purchased from B&N, the Kobo when I want to read the classics and the Kindle for Kindle library books and e-book purchases from Amazon.
