Well, I'm assuming most of us are looking for an ereader primarily for epubs, and are interested in the bookeen due to it's speed. Good PDF capability would be good, but for novels one would convert the pdf to an epub (and if a graphic novel/textbook would be looking for a larger device).
We may use amazon to purchase books and remove the DRM and convert the mobi to epubs.
Web browsing capability would be for emergencies only.
The odyssey's main (only?) strength seems to be its (marginally?) improved speed.
The little feedback regarding the interface and other capabilities seems to be negative (single line annotations?).

No independent reviews on the web, yet, unfortunately, and no UK sellers.
