Keep in mind that the K3 has just slightly better(darker) black than the K2, and pretty much the same "white". You might not see the differences in certain lighting condition(example:dark places). K3 should definitely not look worse though.
Make sure that when you compare them, swap their position around, tiny bit of difference in angle/lighting can make a big difference for the perceived clarity of the screen.
