I have another suggestion.
If you want to upset a teenager, you just need to tell him/her that he is child under 18.
Perhaps using "young reader under 18" instead "child under 18" might be a better choice of words.

From what I have gathered so far Mr. Galloway has a nick Fel and he has quite a strong fan base. He is posting new chapters of his books as he is writing them and he discusses with his readers.
I am not member of his forum yet, but I think I will start visiting his pages much more often.
