My stuff was all wet too! I drove my casket trailer to my Thanksgiving destination, in the wind and rain. AND so it's lid bounced open, and a wind gust blew it all the way open, and I lost all my packed clothes! And a sleeping bag, 2 blankets, my crochet project, plus other stuff!

bgd - do you ever read Lee Smith's short stories? There's one (
Ultima Thule) that describes a similar experience - but with markedly different results!
BTW - were you ever in Myrtle Beach? I remember seeing casket side cars there ....
