Have you tried to go to the Wifi settings, tapping on menu button and then advanced, and modifying wifi sleep policy to "never"? I have no problems with my wifi but my option is at "never". The wifi sleep policy in the Android os is meant for a phone and since the Vox does not have a mobile connection this could be causing problems for you?
