Why throw them away? Couldn't you donate or sell them? Here in Baltimore we have the Book Thing which accepts book donations and then distributes them for free. We also have plenty of Good Will stores that accept book donations. Is there nothing similar in your area? Or is it the hastle of donating/selling them that annoys you?
