I tend to prefer using my e-readers for some of the same reason others have already stated. I probably would be more inclined to read paper books if there was a bookstore, used or new, anywhere near where I live. It is a couple of hours drive to the nearest. So I figure if I am forced to order online I will get the e-book if available; quicker, not that much difference in cost, and as before more convenient to carry around and read. The exception though is those books that are just not available as e-books. Then my local library system is my only resource.

It is interesting to read how many in this thread say that they will no longer read paper books at all. This seems to have a real impact on the books clubs in this forum.
