A very important question, too. Whether or not privacy is being invaded, I find the Reading Life thing annoying and completely useless to me. It's almost as if Kobo is trying to drag us into the social media culture. This should be an app you can add instead for those who really want it. I'm also annoyed by the Facebook connection you have to opt out of. It's almost as if Kobo may be gathering data about our reading habits.

There are far more important features we need, such ad multiple bookmarking in each book, the ability to text search and jump to any page or chapter instead of this crap. I just hope that when all this is fixed, we'll be able to get a free upgrade.
