My point is that Amazon never promised an offer every four days or the 'quality' (dependent on the owner's perception, methinks) of the offers. The four days was determined by the sleuths here and at other forums.
This is how Amazon currently describes Special Offers:

If you have a Kindle sans Special Offers and you turn the 'feature' on and off as you please? Or do you only get to turn SO on once?
