Not quite. Here is an example, from my own life as a beta tester for the Touch that just happened. I had a problem with page change speeds after the latest build was released. It was NOT something we had seen with the latest beta build, btw and very few people are reporting it as an issue.
Working with one of the developers over email. I made a series of videos of the problem as I tried various things--which included multiple factory rests and applying different beta builds for comparison. After all of this, my problem was solved. Now the issue before the developer is if this solution is generalizable enough to recommend to other people who have what seems to be the same problem.
It was a whole morning of testing of this one thing. The plus was that I solved my problem (and ultimately it was something I decided to try on my own), the downside was, well, it was a whole morning that I could have spent doing something else.
