Too late, battery discharge done. (I hope this is not when a problem charging the battery develops now, LOL!)

Re the beta tester thing, I don't 'enjoy' having technical issues with products, but when a problem arises, I have a lot of trouble leaving it alone until the cause and cure are found and I can be quite tenacious in trying to find solutions. I'm willing to trouble shoot and provide info to assist those who are in a position to fix the problem, but as a customer, I just want my product to work the way it could and should. If I had spare hardware to fool around with, I would actually enjoy beta testing computer software and other devices. A person can be quite fearless on a device when it doesn't bother him or her to have to wipe it all and start from factory specs. But I just want this Vox to do what it was meant to do. For me, I see it as a reader with perks.

The Vox has a lot of potential, and mine is not performing up to its fullest, that's for sure. I would sure like to see this get fixed. I'm not inclined at this point to uninstall and reinstall any other apps until James has provided some input on this thread. I would like the opportunity to try reinstalling the update. In the meantime, I guess for the time being rather than doing a quick press on the power button when waking it up, I could just do the long one, since I'll have to completely reboot it anyway and I know that now because it now happens every time.
