You know, I'm starting to think I'm the only one who completed the firmware update correctly, or something, since I've seen none of the problems reported here. At all. I just finished reading for thirty minutes, including some usage of the Kobo app, and lost about 10% power after 30 minutes of reading... and having had it in standby, with wifi off, all day. So it's been off the charger 48 hours without freezing up, and without draining out overnight.
For the people who had problems after the update; did you get prompted for the update, then went on to install, or did you try to force the update?
