No, I'll admit the upload speeds seemed a little slow, but it's meant to be a transparent process and it's not so bad after that initial sync operation. Now and again I'll add a song or an album to my shared folder and it syncs over in a reasonable amount of time.
Downloading purchased songs is much faster, though.
