Mine has been fine all day BUT I did catch the little bugger waking up from his sleep just as I was walking by....I think I didn't force sleep...I just left it after I was downloading a zinio magazine...so maybe that's why it was waking itself up?

I would try a factory reset...you shouldn't have to avoid it sleeping until the end of time!
