I had just moved to a new hospital system and was standing in the closet they had assigned me as an office, wondering where I was going to put my books, let alone see patients. In walks this lovely creature and states that she wanted to meet the new psychiatrist. In the state of mind I was in at the time, I looked up from the boxes and said, "I must marry you!"

Actually, I looked up and quite rudely said, "Who are you?" She said, "Nobody!" and walked away.

We've been together for nine years and married for five next Saturday. I still haven't lived down the first impression.
