Uploading Newspapers to Iliad

I have not been able to read any of my e editions of newspapers on my Iliad, mainly I think, because of the absurd Vista platform which just does not allow a lot of programs to access through a proxy server. Examples being Pressreader, Timesreader, I cannot get Webcloner to access either so I cannot download as offline pages then upload to the Iliad.

So whilst spending many hours pursuing the options, and trying various configurations, I have become completely confused (not to mention crashing my Laptop a few times)

On my return home later this month, when I will have no proxy barrier, I want to access these epaper subscriptions.

Can someone enlighten me as to what is the best way to accomplish this? Can they be uploaded to the Iliad? Or should I use offline pages for each article I select and if so? Should they be saved to the Iliad as HTM or HTML MHT files or even TXT?

I find the Iliad instructions to be completely clear on everything, except what I actually want to know!

Help please!

John
