I'm afraid I have to peek up from above the parapet and say I heartily disliked the bit I've read of his work.
I gave , I think, the 1632 a fairly decent go, more out of a sort of disbelief I supppose.
It
was my first ebook....
I found the basic concept admirable, and a real new twist....but then it started to descend the hill pretty rapidly.
Frankly the gung ho, slap 'em down, shoot 'em first, almost glorification of violence, wrapped up in a cloak of necessity, bored me no end.
I suppose I kept going as long as I did because hoped felt there might be a saving grace - beyond the original excellent idea.
Sadly, it never came.
But that's solely my opinion, and probably not shared by anyone who wants more of it !
