Did you know, when not using a lithium battery, you best store it with 40% charge level in the refrigerator? At this state there is hardly time wear... Altough I don't know how the IlIad eInk display likes/dislikes the refrigerator I wouldn't advice it

I consider the Iliad to be pretty battery friendly in having a low discharge rate... since it can go 15 hours with a single charge. I just hope they don't use any more than 4.2V to charge it

Well as far as I look over the page, handled with care, not daily discharging the iLiad completly, you could as well get at 1000 charge cycle times, and be say 60% of original capacity.

Still makes me wonder why they didn't make it a replaceable part in the backside or something like that... seems to be the new "apple" idea, to make batteries unchangeable by user.
