As someone who works in a shop that sells both the units and being very familiar with both I'd have to say I'd take the Vox, hands down.

The Playbook has cameras and a faster processor, but it has almost no apps.

I'm not joking, I've dealt with a lot of customers and somewhere around half the time that someone asks me to look for an app that does X, the Playbook doesn't have one.
