Yeah, I finally figured that out. That's one less annoying thing about the newsstand, I guess.
I haven't had a problem with automatic downloads though - that seems to be working fine for me. Since this is a wifi connection, could it be that your wifi isn't in range or working properly at the time the KF checks for updates?
