So today I decided to try something new. After making two cups of strong coffee and put the coffee in my blender with some chocolate syrup and ice. I was trying for what used to be my favorite beverage at my once-per-day coffee shop (Coffee Romance) when I used to live in Portland. Sad to say my concoction was nothing like what was served at that shop, there must have been some other secret ingredient that produced such a thick frothy drink. Anyway not exactly a cold weather beverage for the morning, but for the next couple of days it seems we will have early fall weather here. It's a shame that there are now coffee shops here, the choice out is at the local cafes is caffeinated or decaffeinated with sugar or non-dairy creamer.
