It can take several adjustments to get your new big filling "just right" to fit in with the rest of your teeth.
One trick - if you find yourself grinding your teeth or clenching your teeth together -- visualize a large ball bearing resting on your tongue -- that can make you relax your jaw muscles and open your jaw just enough to take the pressure off your teeth.

The filling seems to be right now. The only problem is the teeth clenching which I do at night when I'm asleep. I've been doing that when stressed for as long as I can remember. I did it before the root canal, afterwards I relaxed until 5 days or so before my appointment last week. Plus, it's the busy and stressful time of the year at our store, too many things to do and too busy to do them. I tried relaxation exercises before going to sleep, this sometimes helps but not now. I'll discuss it with my dentist next week, see if it's a good idea to get one of those mouth guards for during the night.
